Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the Logistics Manager in co-ordinating and streamlining all aspects of our logistics and transport operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise effectively with transport providers, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities.
  • Handle data entry, documentation, and compliance monitoring to support logistics operations.
  • Assist internal teams with freight bookings and facilitate the creation of export shipment paperwork.
  • Provide support to the Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in inventory and stock control administration.
  • Contribute to process improvements and assist in reporting tasks to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in supply chain, logistics or business administration; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience partnering with 3PL providers, freight providers and vendors.
  • Agile and proactive thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges in supply chain.
  • Financial responsibility to process, resolve invoice disputes and ensure the correct charges are levied against the contracted vendor agreements.
  • High level of attention to detail, effective prioritisation, and strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain data accuracy for KPI reporting.
  • Strong geography skills and a solid understanding of international freight transport networks.
  • Experience in commodity import/export customs processes is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to work within diverse cultures and part of a team
  • Results-oriented.
  • Flexibility to assist with tasks outside of standard work hours
