The Role

We are seeking an organised and motivated Garment Technician to join our team. This individual will be capable of delivering accurate garment fit, fabric and quality assessments. Liaising with our Design Administration and Sampling Departments as well as international factories, the successful applicant will have technical understanding of garment construction and patternmaking, a good eye for detail and outstanding communication skills.

What We Expect:  

• Develop technical packages including specifications, fit comments, pattern correction sketches, grading rules and fabric and trim requirements
• Conduct technical inspections of sample garments and communicate clear and detailed instructions to manufacturers and other stakeholders
• Regular travel to offshore factories for reviewing samples of new collections
• Provide technical knowledge and support during the garment life cycle to ensure garment quality and consumer satisfaction

What We Are Lookingor:  

• Technically skilled in garment construction, grading and fit approvals
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and garment patterns.
• Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
